Galaxy at War (v0.76) – GALACTIC CONQUEST – Skirmish Pack by PixzL. [COOP Compatible]

"Galactic Conquest" is a cooperative skirmish mod pack that is structured like Men of War: Assault Squad 2 and is mapped & scripted entirely by me – made by a fan, for the fans. Each map was roughly made within two to three days whilst the scripting of missions took up to four days respectively. Overall, this pack started back in early July and took just under a month to complete. Special thanks goes to the talented modders and porters of the team at Galaxy at War as well as the play-tester "Toast" who supported me in my time and gave me the much needed motivation for this personal project.

➢ 8 custom-made skirmish maps: Naboo, Hypori, Geonosis, Felucia, Tantive IV, Hoth, Scarif, Endor.
➢ 4 factions: The Confederacy of Independent Systems, Galactic Republic, Galactic Empire, Rebel Alliance.
➢ 2 unique factions: Naboo Guard and Native Felucians to spice up gameplay.
➢ Cooperative play available.
➢ New and self-made custom units all textured by myself such as Aayla Secura & Imperial Commandos.
➢ New textures for skirmish flags.
➢ Unique secondary missions to make each skirmish interesting.
➢ Utilisation of animations, rt_functions & entities for scripts.
➢ Custom skirmish icons for the skirmish menu.
➢ Loading screens and backgrounds made in the editor using the GaW mod.
➢ Star Wars music that represents the faction that is being played, this includes introductions, victories, defeats, battles & heromodes.
➢ Heroes (AI) that consist of Jedi and Sith that can spawn on the map – simulating the 2004 & 2005 battlefront games.
➢ Cinematic mode which can be used similar to that of the RTS "Empire at War".
➢ Different environmental settings including weather cycles and border clipping.
➢ Medical and Gonk droids that resupply and heal your units.

➢ Bonus skirmish "Dxun" is not and never will be finished! I will remove it from the pack once I have the time.
➢ Rebel snow speeders will not take off – this is because the latest update has a new an "air-to-ground" combat system which disables the "wheel to airborne" system both in manual and scripted control.
➢ An indoor room is naturally buggy. Therefore, the Tantive IV will have areas where enemies or allies will not shoot each other. This is an engine/game issue and has nothing to do with the mod itself.
➢ Tantive IV bridge sometimes allows the capturing of the final flag immediately when one gets to the zone.
➢ The "cinematic mode" button has to be pressed twice as well as the "continue" button to get back to free-cam mode.
➢ The bombing run on the Hoth Skirmish will spawn but not move due to the new air-combat system.
➢ Particular units like the AT-AT will prevent flags from being captured if they happen to die within the capture zone. Therefore, a script has been added which makes them get deleted upon death along with other tanks and vehicles on other maps – however this only works 90% of the time.
➢ Foliage on Felucia tend to mask units with their large hit boxes. The current work around is to put the gamespeed on maximum (5) and wait till the units move. Alternatively, grenades can sometimes flush them out.
➢ I advise anyone playing this mod with "Fog of War" disabled as units tend to hide in flora, fauna, and foliage.
➢ Make sure you have "Galaxy at War v0.76" installed first with no other mods. Then install the sub-mod "Galactic Conquest" to minimise any errors you might experience.
➢ Updates will be logged onto the changelog.

➢ The "desc.lng" as well as other files relating to descriptions have been removed as they would cause a crash error known as "missing desc.lng".
➢ Majority of crash errors are down to the engine’s ram being limited to 32bit.
