Description:

Eat This, Samurai!

What’s cooler than an AR platform? That’s right, single-shot late 19th century rifles. Now, you’re probably familiar with what an Arisaka is, but what if I told you there was a cooler Japanese rifle made before then? That’s right, one that dates all the way back to the 1880s, the Meiji 13 Murata rifle. Now, Japanese dating systems, at least of the time, represented the years a ruler was in power, therefore, the 13th year of Emperor Meiji’s rule would’ve been 1880. This single-shot black powder rifle will be sure to wipe out anything it sees with its massive 11x60mm round, that’s nearly a .50 cal right there, but with black powder, which makes it cooler (and stickier). The rifle was basically out of action around the Russo-Japanese War because of the new and better Type 30 and Type 38 Arisaka rifles., though still saw service through WWI and even into WWII.

Information
  • Includes the Murata Type 13 weapon, found within the Marksman, Black Powder, and Victorian tabs
  • 195 damage – it instakills out to a fair range, although damage dropoff is going to make you very sad as after about 60 meters, you’re dealing 50% of the damage you could (vastly different than the Dreyse because I noticed it doesn’t kill stuff at range very well)
  • High knockback
  • 59 cartridges in reserve
  • 3.2 second reload
