Asra’s Katana
I found the original Solus Katana pretty boring, considering that Asra’s got a lot of attacks and we only get to use the Kunai Blast. So i decided to fix this. Presenting… the NEW Solus Katana.
This mod reworks Solus Katana to be a randomly-generated weapon, with 4 alt abilities, custom swooshes, custom active and inactive idle stances, 25% damage reduction while active, a 9-hit combo that becomes 12-hit once upgraded… but Solus Katana now consumes 10 energy per second, along with 5 energy per hit.
Alt abilities:
– Solus Slash: a reworked Blink Slash
– Energy Beam: a custom ability, negates falling and any movement, deals a lot of damage in a large area but very energy-expensive
– Solus Dash: a reworked Trail Dash, usable both on ground and in air, and the invincibility effect has solus shield visuals. I tried to make it resemble Asra’s dash, but i think there are some differences
– Kunai Blast: now fires more projectiles, similar to Asra’s, but the explosion deals less tile damage (or else things like platforms are gonna be destroyed in a single focused blast)
Compatibilities:
Project Blade Dance – compatible, but swooshes can behave strangely.
FU – i should probably make it incompatible
