Expanded Cities

The release of Tours and Tournaments DLC has paved the way for better things to come for what I considered CK3’s most lacking element, the relationship between rulers and their lands. Sure, seeing the English red cover the entire map may be satisfying enough for some, but as soon as you descend to the actual map, it just falls flat. The beautiful landscape divided by arbitrary borders, lands that are home to hundreds of thousands of people represented by a single walled building, etc., are just too inadequate for something as grand.
My mod is merely an attempt to rectify this problem. By lowering the zoom level, erasing borders, shrinking buildings and replacing them with more detailed models, and a handful of other changes, I seek to force the players to actually level themselves with the people they’re ruling and the lands they’re fighting over. Long gone are the days of mindlessly scheming, fabricating, ruling, and fighting from above!
