Walenia, Queen of Rot

Walenia has arrived to join the misery. Take advantage of your curse – the Scarlet Rot – to survive. Steal the health of your foes to ease your never-ending rotting.

The character’s original name is Malenia, she’s from Elden Ring.

Hunger: 155
Health: 175
Sanity: 175

Most values can be modified from the Mods menu.

Scarlet Rot: Walenia constantly loses health as soon as she enters the game. It takes her three whole days to die by the rot from her 175 starting health.

However, she can compensate this effect by stealing the health of her enemies. Walenia restores 20% of the damage she deals to mobs.

When she gets below 55 health, she starts to randomly spawn butterflies.

The Scarlet Rot also affects her inventory: Perishable items spoil twice as fast in her inventory. Items stored in backpacks and other carriable containers doesn’t get affected by the faster spoilage. This perk can be turned off in the mod settings.

She can craft 5 rot for the cost of 5 health.

Walenia’s helmet and blade: Walenia starts the game with her unique helmet and blade.

Wearing the helmet eases the Scarlet Rot: While the helmet is on her head, it takes her five days to die by rot instead of the original three. The helmet is recraftable, it can get perished by taking damage. It blocks 70% of the incoming damage.

The blade is a simple weapon, dealing 55 damage per hit. It’s recraftable, you can swing with a single blade 155 times.

She has unique voice sounds and a big portait.

– You may copy the codings of my mods, but I don’t allow to use my sprites in any other mod.

This mod isn’t meant to be revolutionary, it’s just a quick, small character mod I wanted to make for a while now.

I have a good/bad habit of adding small reworks to my characters. Check out the mod’s page when you see the mod is updating. If I feel like something is out of flavour or just doesn’t make sense anymore, I try to come up with something better.
