In Hindsight S1E5: Operation Shai Hulud
A few months ago desert rebel forces who call themselves ‘the Free Men’ have occupied an oil field in the Arrakis desert in southern Takistan. This oil field helps them fund their raids on adjacent villages and tribes. Our customer Vrana Corp has recently legally aquired the mining rights for large parts of the Arrakis desert. However to be able to operate in the area they need the rebel forces removed and that is where Goldstar Security comes into play.
We have very little intel of the area and the rebel forces. However we believe they are reasonably well equipped from their war funds. Expect heavy resistence including armored assets.
To successfully complete the mission it is crucial that the oil tower is undamaged. Damaging or destroying the oil tower will fail the mission so watch out where you shoot at. There are two oil towers in the area. To the east is the old tower which is out of use and not important to us. The oil tower to the west is where we have to be careful. Check your mission plan and map details.
