A Restomod of a Ford Mustang GT.
The engine was swapped for an I6 DOHC BU2 Turbo, increasing the output to 553hp. Peripheral equipment and exhaust pipes were renewed to match the engine, and an ECU and intercooler were added.
Part of the gearbox is exposed inside the driver’s seat.
The rear suspension was changed to a torsion bar type, and the brakes were disc type. The tires were changed to thick racing type for high speed driving.
Although the body parts are wide body, the image of the original Mustang GT is respected and the style is somewhat old-fashioned. The driver’s seat is the same as the old GT. The front number plate has been removed.
The Mustang retains the old car look, but the engine conversion gives it the performance of the latest sports cars. Have fun with it.

Ford Mustang GTのRestomodです。
エンジンはI6 DOHC BU2 Turboに換装し、553hpに出力を増強。エンジンに合わせ周辺機器やエキゾーストパイプを刷新し、ECUとインタークーラーを増設しました。
ギアボックスの一部が運転席内に露出します。
後部サスペンションはトーションバー式に変更、ブレーキはディスク式です。高速走行に対応すべくタイヤは太いレーシングタイプに変更しました。
ボディパーツはワイドボディですが、元のMustang GTのイメージを尊重しやや古臭いスタイルでまとめました。運転席も旧来のGTと同じです。フロントナンバープレートは撤去しました。
オールドカーの外観を残しながら、エンジン換装で最新スポーツの性能を発揮するMustangです。楽しんでください。
