X-Ray Killcam
I noticed a majority of the people who downloaded my XRay Deathcam had hoped for a killcam.
So I decided to make a killcam version. This is not complete and probably never will be.
This script depends on the server, meaning you will only be able to use it on servers that have it installed.
Though you might be able to load killcams on servers that allow clientside scripts.
XRay killcam when you kill an NPC or player.
Random view angles to make it look dramatic.
Bullet with trail and sound.
Killcams get saved clientside and can be loaded later.
Recordings can be saved and loaded. (Though it is a bit unstable)
A menu where you can load killcams and recordings.
Q: Why is the slowmotion so fast?
A: Not my fault. You have an addon that conflicts with this addon. Bullet-time and other time-changing addons are known to cause this so you should start by disabling those.
Q: Why do the ragdolls disappear?
A: You probably have an addon that overrides the death-ragdolls. Not anything I can fix, just disable some addons until it works.
Q: Help it doesn’t work
A: You’ve got to be more specific than that. Any number of addons could cause this and I’d rather not spend my free time teaching you how to disable a few addons.
B: The bullet position is not always accurate and might look like they miss completely (Especially with shotguns).
E: This is a bug with the engine and isn’t anything I can fix.
B: For some reason a skeleton does not always appear on humans that are members of the resistance.
E: I really don’t know why this happens, because they have all the bones necessary for the skeleton to appear.
B: Mechanical NPCs like manhacks do not work, but they still slow down time.
E: This is because they get removed faster than the addon can handle and thus can’t trigger the KillCam properly.
B: Any corpses created by NPCs with "Keep Corpses" on, will not be invisible during the KillCam.
E: This happens because I can’t manipulate serverside entities from the client.
xkc_enable[0/1] – Enable or disable the killcam. You will still be able to load earlier killcams.
xkc_slowmotion[0-1] – The amount of slowmotion. 0 is the slowest and 1 is normal speed.
xkc_chance[0-1] – The chance that a killcam appears. 0 is never and 1 is always.
xkc_organs[0/1] – Enable or disable organs.
xkc_sound[0/1] – Enable or disable bullet-sound.
xkc_save[0/1] – Enable or disable saving killcams.
xkc_record[0/1] – Enable or disable recording (Very intensive).
xkc_world_slowmotion[0/1] – Enable or disable changing the global timescale (Only in singleplayer).
You can find the killcam menu in the context menu.
The addon works best on Combines as they are the only default models that can use skeletons.
If you have "Keep Corpses" on, the corpses won’t disappear during the Killcam.
Any addon that overrides you view or the death of NPCs/Players.
This includes thirdperson addons and gib mods.
If you have "xkc_world_slowmotion" turned on then any addons that change the timescale will not work.
Krede/Me – Coding the addon.
