Description:

In vanilla you cannot see what effects exhaustion is having on your units, and I would guess almost no one actually knowns (I certainly did not).

With this mod you can see the stats update on the unit card as your/your opponent’s units gain fatigue.

The icons will only be visible in campaign, not custom battles, functionality is the same though.

Safe to add to an existing save file, but not to remove.

Compatibility:

For use with SFO, use the submod: Show me the Fatigue! – SFO submod

Compatible with any modded units or modded factions, but only in campaign, not i custom battles.

Feel free to make a submod for anything you like, and I’ll link it here (you can use the SFO submod as a template, just change the values).

Compatible with anything that does not edit what values fatigue give. If you use such a mod the values you see will not be the true values, though it should not crash.

Stats (if no other mod changes them) :

How it works:

This is accomplished by removing the fatigue effects from their usual place, and adding them as unit abilities that activate at the right level of exhaustion. The unit abilities’ penalties stack, for example if a unit is "Tired" it will have the penalties from "Active", "Winded", and "Tired".

It also appears that fatigue in vanilla is applied multiplicatively to the unit’s current stats, which means it will affect stat bonuses/penalties from spells/unit abilities. This mod uses passive unit abilities to apply the effects, which means they will stack additively with other unit abilities. Spells/unit abilities that change the stats that are most penalised by fatigue, will therefore be more significant at higher levels of fatigue.

The practical effect of this is that spells/unit abilities with larger numbers will be more impactful than vanilla at higher levels of exhaustion ("Tired", "Very Tired", "Exhausted"). This will mostly apply to changes to armour, melee attack, speed, reload time.
