Freik’s Funding Mod
Had you, at any point in the game had to much money but no way to spend it?
Did you, had the craving for the one buff that would make your life that much easier but no way to get it?
Then this Funding Mod is for you
This is one of the half a dozen "funding mods" that cropped up over the years of EU4’s livespan.
Meaning, that in game you can spend ducats to get pernament buffs through the decisions menu.
I liked the premise of these mods but none ever worked like I would have liked so I made my own mod.
– 5 Military, 7 Diplomatic, 6 Administrative Funding Options
– Ability to "buy" Diplomats, Colonists, Merchants, Missionaries
-> Everything comes with an unkeep from 2-20 ducats per month (level 1-10)
-> The levels increase on average every modifier by 5% but there are a few exception like discipline which increases by 1% every 2 levels.
-> You can see which buff the respective decisions provide in game.
– Ability to buy Monarch Power (5:1 ratio)
– Broken English
– Cool text icons
Q: Is this "balanced"?
A: Not rly, the ducat unkeep will probably not pose a problem in late game and you will be able to snowball even further. But isnt this the point of EU4 endgame?
Q: The modifiers all have the ducat icon.
A: To my knowledge this is an engine limitation.The wiki says so
Q: Does this work on version X?
A: Should work on any version with or without any dlc. (Some modifiers will simply not apply if you play on older versions)
