P0STY, the postbot!
Send items to friends using P0STY, the post bot!
P0STY will first spawn after the P0STY-BOX is placed in the players inventory. The P0STY-BOX is an item found on the map (similar to the Chester’s eyebone). As long as it is in the players possession, P0STY will follow the player. If the P0STY-BOX is dropped on the ground, P0STY will remain by it, as it’s home location.
By clicking on P0STY the player can store items inside him and are provided with the option to send P0STY to another player or the home location to deliver the items. P0STY is also able to travel to players located in the caves. After some time P0STY will return, even if the items have been collected or not.
To keep P0STY happy and functioning the player must provide it with fuel when P0STY is unhappy, indicated by a change of expression and a red light. If the player fails to provide P0STY with enough fuel they will not be able to access the chest inside P0STY or send items. He uses as fuel all burnable stuff, like logs, twigs, grass, nitre, etc.
If P0STY takes any damage he will teleport away to safety, however taking too much damage may result in P0STY being unhappy.
In this mod I’m using a GemCore API to be able to send P0STY to the caves from forest and vice versa. Embedded auto-subscribe to GemCore API does not work for a dedicated server. If you’re hosting dedicated server, add GemCore API to your server mods list on your own.
