War for Middle Francia
Not ironman achievement compatible.
Based on the vanilla negotiation of the Danelaw.
Features:
- By decision, the Holy Roman Emperor can lay claim to the lands once held by Middle Francia, resulting in de jure shifts of certain kingdoms.
- Enables the emperors of Francia and the Holy Roman Empire to quickly declare lands once held by Middle Francia as their de jure lands.
- Shuffles around other de jure assignments around the Italian peninsula to keep the titles around the same size. History files are not altered.
Known issues:
- Certain text boxes don’t reference the king of France if the emperor of France does not yet exist.
- Theoretically, the HRE and Francia can annex each other fully, but the mechanic is only supposed to work for the kingdoms of Frisia, Lotharingia, Burgundy/Arles and Italy.
