R2-D2 from Star Wars joins ROA workshop! This little astromech droid has a bunch of tools at their disposal, especially their ability to cover the entire stage and opponents with oil, and ignite them using fire attacks!
Nspecial and Dspecial can cover the stage in oil, and apply an ‘oiled’ status to opponents. Oiled opponents will also create oil underneath where they stand.
Certain fire based moves like Fstrong and Uspecial will interact with oil, creating a wave of fire from stage oil and creating a secondary fire hitbox if they connect with oiled opponents.
Fspecial will grab opponents who get hit by it. Perform a directional input to perform a strong attack on the grabbed player, even in the air! Fspecial can also be jump canceled while traveling on oil.
The longer you charge Fstrong, the further BB-8 will travel.
Dstrong has a larger sourspot that launches away, and a sweetspot that spikes aerial opponents. Use this offstance in conjunction with Fspecial for some cheesy kills!
Holding down Dattack will extend the move’s multihits indefinetely, at the cost of not having a launcher hitbox.
