The Black Maidens
This mod adds the Black Maidens, a new ethereal unit for the Vampire Counts.
These restless shades are the spectres of slain Sylvanian noblewomen, who either met their grisly fate at the hands of rebellious serfs or from more insidious elements. Nevertheless, their spirits have now returned, trapped in a grim corporeal form; forever seeking vengeance upon the guilty and those who survived their dying curses.
Armed with transient, magical blades, these ghostly units can sunder enemy armor, making them ideal for engaging high defense units. However, while they can easily shrug off melee weapons like their ghostly kin, their low unit count and relatively low health makes them especially susceptible against mass ranged fire and artillery; with fire being a notable weakness for the Black Maidens. Use their speed to flank the enemy instead as you would with the Vampire Counts’ other agile units.
