Description:

Hi everyone, continuing with the same work on my other mod, this one i’ll try to develop the most. The plan is to slowly add heroes to the different races that would in the lore ally with each other. For now here is the current list.

Empire: All the heroes can bre recruited since tier 3 on the tavern.

-Frost Maiden.
-Glade Captain.
-Paladin.
-High Elf Noble.
-Thane.

Dwarfs: Can be recruited fro the tavern building tier 3.

-Paladin.
-High Elf Noble.
-Empire Captain.
-Alchemist.

Kislev: Can be recruited from the Ice Guard recruitment building.

-Warrior Priest.
-Glade Captain.
-Damsel.

Bretonnia: Can be recruited since tier 2 of the tavern building.

-Frost Maiden.
-Empire Captain.
-Thane.
-High Elf Noble.

High Elves: Can be recruited from the tier 3 Embassy.

-Frost Maiden.
-Warrior Priest.
-Glade Captain.
-Paladin.
-Empire Captain.

Cathay: Can bre recruited from the Caravan’s Inn building

-Master Engineer.

Now, you’ll notice that some races have more added than the other ones. This is because of the types of agents each faction can have, so for example dwarfs don’t have wizards, or dignataries. This is possible to do making a startpos mod but i wanted it to make it as compatible as posible with other mods. I’ll try to add one hero from each race to everyone at least, though for these restrictions it won’t be the same for everyone (i.e. empire captains for dwarfs instead of warrior priest). You get the idea.

Any requests i’ll try and make them into the mod as long as they are loreful.

PLANNED UPDATES.

Next i’ll try to create an extra building for Cathay to include them in the mod, as currently they don’t have any building that i would call an embassy, or tavern. If anyone have any ideas, please let me know.

Down the line probably the following heroes will be added: High Elf Noble, Handmaiden, Empire Captain, Damsel, Dwarf Runesmith, Patriarch, Loremaster of Hoeth, Alchemist and Waystalker.

UPDATES.

23/09/22

Added a custom building for Cathay, and they can now recruit Frost Maidens and Master Engineers from it, aside from a few benefits they get from it. It’s a tier 3 building only.

Added several heroes to the other races.

Will be improved uppon later.

25/09/22

Added Damsels to Kislev.

KNOWN ISSUES.

Lastly these mods suffers from the same visual issues than my other one. If you have your heroes embeded in an army you probably won’t notice, as these bugs are only in the UI and don’t affect gameplay or performance at all. It’s mostly the lack of portraits on the left-bottom corner and in the hero list when scrolling on the character details UI.

For now, i can’t seem to find a way to give them a 2d portrait,right now they get the one from the last unit you selected, as i tried with the guides and it’s no use, if anyone knows, i’d really apreciate the help.
Also when not embeded in an army, the heroes added via this mod show the goblin unit card. However they seem normal with their correct cards when embeded in an army.
Ande when on the recruit heroes UI, you’ll see them as PH Karl Franz icon, also no idea why, if anyone knows, please let me know so i can fix it.

Everything else been working perfect.

COMPATIBILITY.

Should be compatible with everything that doesn’t change the locations of the heroes/buildings/effects used.

Save game compatible but you’ll need to demolish the building and build it again for the hero pool to refresh. I recommend starting a new campaign.
