Robert Wagstaff(Canon-Divergent)
An inquisitive inventor who’s down on his luck, Mr. Wagstaff fully intends to capitalize on this opportunity to try again. He has some plans for this new life he’s been thrust into, including – but not limited to – plans of the mechanical sort.
Note: this mod is based on a speculative characterization as depicted by tinkering-survivor [tinkering-survivor.tumblr.com] on Tumblr. It was started before Wagstaff’s files were found in Don’t Starve and the Don’t Starve Together: Next of Kin short.
The latest and greatest invention of Wagstaff’s, the Locational Transmission Harness is a valuable utility for group exploration. Working like a hands-free compass, the L.T.H. allows the wearer to keep tabs on their fellow survivors while still being able to perform basic chores and defend themselves from the many menaces of the Constant. It’s a delicate piece of equipment, so try to not take too many hits while wearing it.
Having lost everything he’s worked towards to a raging fire, it’s safe to say Wagstaff isn’t the biggest fan of open flames. His sanity will drain at a remarkable rate when near any fire, so be mindful of unattended campfires, loose torches, and pigtailed firebugs.
While functional, this mod is not feature complete. Look forward to more updates in the coming months, including new base structures and a new mob.
