Tess, The Dhampir Alchemist
Tess is an alchemist from a far away land. She ran away from home to experience new and exciting adventures.
She will reference some of her other friends (which may or may not become DST characters) in her speech.

* Starts with a reinforced straw hat, a siphon and a vial of blood
* Crafts nine custom potions
* Crafts three different throwable bombs
* Is afraid of dying (more scared of monsters)
* Takes damage in the daylight
* Can see in the dark (toggleable option)
* Isn’t very strong (lower damage)
* Has a small appetite (also drains slower)
* Has custom phrases
Sunlight Mechanics
* Tess takes damage in the sun during the day
* Wear a hat or hide under trees to reduce the damage taken
* Wearing a hat and hiding under trees will stop daylight damage
* Tess does not take damage during dusk, night or while it is raining
* Tess can see in the dark (This option can be turned off)
Fear Mechanics
* Tess is afraid of dying
* The lower Tess’ health is, the more sanity she loses around monsters
Siphon
* Costs 1 stinger and two rocks
* Allows Tess to siphon blood, monster blood and sap
* Can only be used by Tess
* Blood can be siphoned from herself, other players, pigs or animals
* 50% chance the animals will attack you
* Monster blood can be siphoned from hounds, spiders and other monsters
* Sap can be siphoned from trees
Reinforced Straw hat
* Costs 10 cut grass, 2 rocks and one gold
* Lasts for 10 days
Health Potion
* Costs 1 vial of blood and 1 butterfly wings
* Heals 20 health
* Can spoil
Sanity Potion
* Costs 1 vial of blood and 1 green cap
* Heals 20 sanity
* Can spoil
Hunger Potion
* Costs 1 vial of blood and 1 morsel
* Heals 25 hunger
* Can spoil
Relaxative Potion
* Costs 1 vial of sap, 1 berries and 1 seeds
* Must be researched at a science machine
* Causes the person who eats this to lose hunger
* The person who eats this will produce poop
* When eaten by a player there is a 1% chance something special will happen
* Can be fed to pigs (Drops 1-4)
* When fed to pigs there is a 5% chance something special will happen
Light Potion
* Costs 1 vial of sap, 1 light bulb
* Must be researched at a science machine
* Causes the person who eats this to glow
* If a pig eats this their poop will glow
Adhesive Potion
* Costs 1 vial of sap, 1 charcoal
* Must be researched at a science machine
* Can be used to repair damaged tools
Attack Potion
* Costs 3 vial of monster blood and 6 eggs
* Must be researched at an alchemy machine
* Boosts the players damage by 50%
* Causes the player to lose hunger faster
Defense Potion
* Costs 3 vial of monster blood and 1 pumpkin
* Must be researched at an alchemy machine
* Gives the player 50% damage reduction
* Causes the player to lose hunger faster
Speed Potion
* Costs 3 vial of monster blood and 1 pepper
* Must be researched at an alchemy machine
* Gives the player 35% movement speed
* Causes the player to lose hunger faster
Bomb
* Costs 1 flint, 1 nitre and 1 charcoal
* Does 25 damage
* 5% chance that it will crit (increasing explosion radius and damage)
Fire Bomb
* Costs 1 flint, 1 nitre and 1 fireflies
* Must be researched at a science machine
* Does 50 damage
* Lights things on fire
* 5% chance that it will crit (increasing explosion radius and damage)
Electric Bomb
* Costs 1 flint, 1 nitre and 1 electrical doodad
* Must be researched at an alchemy machine
* Does 75 damage
* Causes lightning damage
* 5% chance that it will crit (increasing explosion radius and damage)
