Description:

This mod is based on two mods, one by FiftyTifty, all the credit goes to Fifty:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2843411818
And the other by Andredie, same deal:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2842459897

This mod combines the functionality of both mods into one, while also making them compatible with each other. Go to the originals (links above) for more information/updates.

TLDR: This mod enables any faction to vassalize any other faction, while also disabling the ability for any faction (AI or Player) to form a confederation.

Why does this exist? Well I don’t love to play campaigns just to paint the whole map one color. This mod basically makes it so that you can "vassalize" any factions you want by first destroying their whole province and then convincing them that you’re actually their friend and they just need to pay you a fee to exist, while also giving up their diplomatic liberties! Just like European conquistadors of old… (You can also do it peacefully with diplomacy, but that’s boring). Also, if for some unfortunate reason a faction you wanted to vassalize got wiped out, you can just kick out the wiper from its territory and liberate your friends! (While also basically enslaving them). No confederations also prevents any factions from merging and turning the endgame into big blue vs red for 50 turns, while all of your potential vassals vanish.

Feel free to let me know if something doesn’t work properly. I will try to fix any bugs, but I am at the mercy of the original authors when it comes to significant updates/changes/problems.

Recommended mods:
"Revive Factions From Ruins": https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2861900776 This mod is another way to "liberate" factions while Diplomatic Options is broken.
"Fudging Vassals": https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2794064207 This mod takes away even more freedom from your vassals! Keep your friends in check.

Compatibility:
Fully compatible with "Unlocked Player Diplomacy" by FiftyTifty:

Probably incompatible with any mod that messes with diplomacy tables (diplomacy values should be ok). If you wanna check for incompatibilities just use a mod manager:

FAQ:
Q: Do I need the original mods?
A: No

This mod is also supposed to let you liberate any faction, but from the words of the author:
"The 2.1 update has broken the mod’s liberate occupation option. Granting it to all factions causes certain settlements to cause a CTD. I have removed that option for now.".
I plan on updating the mod when the liberation functionality is fixed.
