Description:

Many of the Legendary Lords in warhammer wield renowned artefacts of great power, yet most of these are reduced to just somewhat better than blue items, while a few other unique items are allowed to be incredibly strong.

This mod seeks to correct that. Many items and set bonuses are increased in strength, some very noticeably. Chaos and other selfish characters tend to focus more in being mighty combatants themselves, while order factions focus more on buffing up their armies and factions.

A key goal of this is to make items such as Slaanesh’s blade or the Sword of Khaine not always worth putting onto your LL, at least not without trade off. In return virtually every LL weapon I’ve touched has become much stronger as well. As such, this mod is not balanced by any stretch, save that it doesn’t auto-win everything, and that the ai also benefits in full. Fully confederated order factions get scary.

Buffed items range from slightly better than before to rival the Sword of Khaine outright.
Buffs are mostly meant to be the power of the item in lore, but some character related stuff is also conveyed. Particularly for order factions getting faction wide bonuses. I also have not buffed items or aspects that I think as sufficient as is, but let me know in the comments if you think some things have been left behind.

If you want skill based bonuses, find the skill mod you prefer! This doesn’t touch skill so will work with it easily. I personally like Legendary Lords of Legendary Mastery, a mod I wholeheartedly recommend.

This mod is now seeking to affect Every unique item, or at least those belonging to LLs and LHs.

Notes:

  • Louen gets a few bonuses on his armour that may seem out of place, these represent his crown, which is an item in the tables – you just can’t get it. So they’re on his armour for now.
  • Notable faction leaders get to apply faction wide buffs, while their item closest to their crown provides army wide buffs. These normally come from their sets.
  • Most LLs with set bonuses apply some hefty buffs with their full set to either themselves, or their army now.
  • Astragoths Stone Mantle says it gives barrier. This is only given to K’daai units. This is a fully vanilla effect and tooltip, so no easy fix there
