They should be a strong elite unit that can charge spearmen and win but they do get worn down especially by archers. The cold ones have much higher upkeep to try and balance them.
The Cold One riders have to coat themselves in cold one juices to get close to their mounts which dulls their senses so they have very high moral.
Input on balance is welcome and probably needed!
