Weleste, The Agent of Alter
A mod adding the enigmatic Weleste to Don’t Starve Together! Weleste is a strange lunar construct with a very big eye, and some strange new powers. Her past is clouded in mystery, but the connections between her and the ‘Moon’ are unmistakeable…
Perks:
* Weleste’s power is in her sanity, at high sanity she glows (seems to not work if bloom is disabled, keep that in mind), gains a 1.2x damage multiplier, does work more effectively, heals, and produces a sanity aura! But when she dips into insanity she loses these perks, gains an insanity aura and even starts losing health. Be careful!
* Weleste hates the darkness and anything related to it, so she loses 2.5x sanity from shadow weapons, and the darkness itself! She dislikes fasion (she thinks its inefficient) and only gains 75% of the sanity from clothes. But she is familiar with the whims of the Constant, and loses only 75% of the sanity from insanity auras!
* Weleste, being a contruct made of moonrock and moonglass, does not have a stomach! This means food is a novelty to her, and so she gains 1.25x health and sanity from what she eats.
* Weleste, being native to the moon, is ignored by natural gestalts. This doesn’t apply to the Celestial Champions gestalts though!
* Weleste is an expert in the lunar arts. She can craft moon shards and moon rocks with her health, and she can craft glass axes and new magical weapons as well!
* With the power of a Celestial Orb she can do much more! With it she can craft more new magic staves, the Iridescent Gem and its staff and a new armour that grants defense based on your sanity.
* Weleste isn’t a fan of sleeping, and like Wickerbottom she is an insomniac and immune to sleep.
* When on the Lunar Island, in the Lunar Grotto, or in a full moon, Weleste will always have her high sanity abilities, regardless of her actual sanity! In a full moon she will gain sanity as well!
* Being a skilled user of moon glass, Weleste uses the Glass Cutter and Moonglass Axe more efficiently, always giving them the amount of uses they have against shadows.
NEW ITEMS:
Pellucid Armour – a new armour set, crafted by Weleste, requiring the Celestial Orb to prototype. Gives up to a 85% damage reduction and a 20% speed boost depending on your sanity level! The higher the better!
Petrifying Stave – a new staff! With 15 uses, it can petrify hounds and werepigs and freeze them into solid stone!
Lune Fury – a new staff! Has 25 uses and summons a meteor of random size at the cursor!
Mindstorm Stave – Summons 3 gestalts to attack whatever you shoot with this staff!
Lune Rage – unleash the rage of the moon by creating a shower of meteors around yourself!
True Mindstorm Stave – A powerful new stave, puts everything to sleep around you and swarms up to 10 targets with a storm of gestalts! Doesn’t work on bosses though!
Evanescent Crystal – A crafting item used by Weleste!
Lunar Flare (WIP) – This flare allows Weleste to call to her old master, and cause it to become a full moon!
