The End of Dawn
The End of Dawn is a specialized Anti-Legacy Core-9 Capital Vessel.
Made specifically for killing Legacy ships as a Core-9 & without the need for Auxillary or Quantum cores, The End of Dawn will kill any Legacy ship including the Eradicator ( shown on this ships Video feature ). The EOD is a specialized Pup-tank with In-built Decoys of every type, Segregated and armored inside of it’s nose, it uses Advanced Laser cannon decoys in its Nose and wings to draw fire away from your Artillery Cannons, which are your primary armament.
This ship is big on efficiency, and it uses it to allocate massive amounts of CPU into a really extreme weapons suite, you have the extremely efficient anti-shield punch of 12 Gamma laser turrets & 8 Manual-Fire advanced lasers, combined with a pack of 8 Heavy Laser turrets for dual anti-drone and anti-shield Duty. Topped off with all 12 Artillery Cannons, this little puppy packs a big punch.
You have a modest Shield of 9k, primarily for saving your hull from errant Drone damage or the odd surprise encounter, you can upgrade your shield to about 20k by subbing out a couple of your heavy laser turrets, & if you wish, this ship will kill medium sized Zirax Capitals just as well.
Your steering is tight and your Thrust is respectable, you have a frontal-cone of armor which wraps over and around your primary Ammo controller, and you have a reserve Harvest controller, if you’d like to mount a Tool Turret.You have an extremely Modest hangar, there as much to stack extra components as to house any kind of vehicle, but you could fit a little timber harvester in there if you needed to.
This is a very different ship for me, I bucked the urge to build a lot of upgradability into it and it is a very specialized ship, it could be made even more specialized, with even more weapons or shield, by removing the Warp and radar, and using it as a Carrier-launched Destroyer.
If you were looking for a Solid Core-9 CV to Kick the absolute crap out of legacy and get some early quantums, this is that, it’ll kill 3 or 4 Infectors/decimators/devestators before you need to take her in for a repair.
