OMORI

[this mod is spoiler-free! unless you count 1 early game weapon and 1 early game item that have 0 relevance to the story as spoilers. then it is not.]

The main character from the Indie RPGMaker game OMORI [unofficially of course lol] comes to Rivals of Aether Workshop. Neutral Special can be used to swap through emotion states, and each one effects your general stats:

Happy:

+ OMORI becomes faster
– OMORI becomes lighter
+- OMORI falls slower

Sad:

+ OMORI becomes harder to knock offstage
– OMORI’s speed heavily decreases
+- OMORI falls faster

Angry:

+ OMORI deals extra damage [stacks with rubber band damage multiplier]
– OMORI takes extra damage

(when the cooldown for emotion ends, a small smoke effect will appear next to OMORI.)

FSPECIAL: Rubber Band
Fling a rubber band at the opponent. This move ""decreases the other player’s defense"" by making your next attack do extra damage. Be quick though, it’s on a timer!

DSPECIAL: Trick
Teleport a set distance forwards and attack in the other direction. Normally, this move puts OMORI into pratfall. However, landing it negates this and sends you into the air.

USPECIAL: Attack Again
Do a single slash upwards. If you hold special + either left or right, the move has a second hit that’s better for killing off the side and recovering horizontally.
