Galega

Leaving his home of the Steam Canyon, Galega rebels against his duties. Galega was one of the turtle monks sworn to look over the world of Aether. Disregarding his oath, he leaves his life as a monk and fights against the order of this world. Rejecting ideas of responsibility and hierarchy, Galega fights to tear down the social order… and he knows just where to start.

Galega can cancel into this move from any Normal or Strong attack, consuming steam.

Galega dashes forward, consuming steam and damaging enemies along the way.

Galega slams the ground, emerging a geyser from the ground. Geysers will damage any opponent that steps on them, inflicting 99% Overheat. Galega can use these geysers to launch himself through the air and cancel attacks.

Galega huddles into his shell, ejecting steam and propelling himself into the air.

Hitting opponents scalds them with some of the steam built up within Galega’s shell. Continuous attacks will compound this heat until the opponent releases their pent-up energy, fully restoring Galega’s steam gauge. With this, Galega is able to keep the pressure on his adversaries and never let up.

Galega holds steam within his shell and expels it for powerful attacks. Hitting opponents builds this steam gauge, storing it for later use. All of Galega’s Specials require steam to be used at full strength, failure to meet these requirements leads to pitiful versions of their respective moves.
