Kris
After many years of waiting, Kris joins the fight within the Dark World of Aether. Featuring new sprites, new attacks, and a new design to bring them closer to the roster of Rivals of Aether.
- FUN GANG – While Kris’ SOUL is contained within them, the Fun Gang joins in the battle for Kris’ Strong Attacks. Their range allows them to cover plenty of space where Kris may not be able to!
- SOUL – Using Neutral Special, Forward Special, or Down Special will have Kris throw their SOUL out of their body. This grants Kris new movement options and stage control!
- FREE FROM STRINGS – While their SOUL is out, Kris gains faster strongs that lack in reach. Use the soul to aid in quicker kills and covering blind spots.

Q. Why didn’t you just resprite the original? I like that one more!
A. I figured if I was going through the trouble of redoing the entire character’s art, I might as well redo their moveset. As stated before, I have no plans to add a "classic mode".
Q. Where’s Lancer?
A. The world of Aether is a Dark World, I’m afraid he may turn to stone!
