Mod Description

"Releasing eleven barrels of HELL!" this is fully functional for use by players or just AI. it can be spawned, driven around, fight and die just like any other "tank". turret commanders have heavy stubbers and grenade launchers for some extra punch

THIS COMP IS OBSOLETE; i will leave this up so as it can still be used as a prop, however im happy to say its finally obsolete! Bristling with armaments, a Baneblade is less of a tank and more of a rolling fortress. An unmistakable icon of the Imperium’s armoured supremacy, a single one of these super-heavy war engines can serve as the mailed fist of an Astra Militarum offensive, or as the unassailable lynchpin of even the most desperate of defences.

Possessed of overwhelming and versatile firepower, exceptionally thick armour and a near-indefatigable power plant, the Baneblade has been deployed in many varied war zones throughout the galaxy. Wherever a Baneblade sees battle it quickly becomes the centre of the battle line. Guardsmen and smaller tanks shelter in its colossal shadow, even as the ranks of the enemy flee from it in abject terror.

Questions & Answers

Q: Can I walk/climb around on it ?
A: Yes, but you will need Enhanced Movement mod or something similar

Q: Is it Balanced?
A: Not really, but is anything in 40k. it can quickly kill stompa’s and even titans, but they can make quickly kill it in return

Q: How do I disable / destroy it?
A: Its not easy to disable let alone destroy but it can be done. If the main (leman russ) turret is killed, the main mammoth tank is scripted to also be destroyed. secondary turrets will still be active and need to be destroyed

Q: Why is it spawning all broken up?
A: You need to click off Terrain Level before spawning any comp, click the first link in the description, there’s a section in the first part in the yellow box that’ll show you what the button looks like.

Q: what is the mammoth mod for/ can I remove it?
A: The mammoth acts as the armor/ hp. it can be swapped out with something like a leman russ if fewer mods are desired, to find out how read the "how can i make my own version?" question below

Q: How do i find it in game?
A: It’s not a mod so it wont show in your launcher. in the editor you need to press the groups key or F2 then click on the composition icon. click the first link in the description and watch the first video to see what those icons look like. ( the video is of him saving the comp but the location is the same )

Known Bugs & Issues

– Lack of collision – this is a arma issue, using a attachTo command removes collision.

– Script errors – they work, they just like to complain about it. it only happens when it "dies". if anyone knows why its doing this please let me know

– Due to the scripts used, only one can be spawned at a time. if you wish for more then you’ll need to change it’s name and change all the attachTo commands in the init box of all the attached objects to match that new name.
