January 1st, 1960.
A group of the cuban M-26-7 guerrilla, fresh from the victory of the revolution the prior year decide it’s too boring to just enjoy the victory and move on to something fresh.
During the night they sneak on a boat in Manzanillo and, after a bad storm, they end up in the empty island of San Marcos.
A new country is born.
