New Era Old World – Cult of Caesar
One day I was playing New Era Old World and found a decision to restore the Roman Empire. However, there were no additional immersion events and decisions there, so I thought a little and made this submod, inspired by Caesar’s Legion from Fallout: New Vegas.
Features
- New religion with heresy! Now you can worship the Divine Caesar or his worst enemy – God-Emperor Pompeius!
New religion is dynamic, with holy places and even gods names that depends of location of its birth. So if Cult of Caesar arise in land of Greece, their gods will be, well, greek. - Three well, roman culture already existed in mod… Two new cultures of greek and russian wannabe romans! They want to restore this culture as its possible in post-apocalytical world, so dont judge them if their names can look funny to you.
- New Invasion! Be aware, in Europe may rise a terryfing Caesar’s Legion, that want to restore ancient Roman Empire!
- New decisions! You can proclaim Second, Third and Restored Roman Empire (or Republic) as Greek, Russian and Italophone roman wannabe. And you can create Caesar’s Legion yourself and reform it to new Imperial Legion after you proclaim your Roman Empire!
- Unique ability for Cult of Caesar and Cult of Pompeius – forcefull romanization. Now you can esnalve population of tribal settlements to recive gold, units and swift culture and religius change in province for the cost of prestige and major depopulation of province. Become the conqueror of 86 tribes!
- Various minor events and decisions!
Known IssuesSometimes (usually after saved game been loaded) list of gods name of Cult of Caesar (or Pompeius) can be bugged up. If gods names become a complete mess, type "event CLE.46" in console, that will fix it.Compatibility with other submodsNot tested. Write in the comments if you encounter any problems.Have fun!
