Maxo’s New Shattered for 1.28
Notice: If you’re crashing on launch, just keep relaunching – it’ll work eventually. I can’t reproduce the crash so I have no clue how to fix it, but once you load-in the mod is functional.
Some users have reported that tabbing out of the game and/or running it in windowed-fullscreen prevents it from crashing.

I’ve been working on this as a pet-project for a while now and it’s currently playable. As of right now, there is enough content to enjoy a singleplayer game in Europe, but there are a couple of things that aren’t finished (like the new latent goods system or government reforms) – vanilla mechanics are still there however, so you aren’t losing out on any gameplay.
Things will change, but I will strive to maintain save-game compatibility in any future updates.

Regarding new formables/religions/ideas for existing tags or new ones, I’m very happy to accept ideas.
If you have a save-game ruined by something that’s my fault, send it over discord and I’ll try to fix it if I have time.
Updates will be slow and mainly by request – I’m pretty busy but will do my best to keep this alive and functional.
===========================================A note on the name – I’ve attached my name to this project to differentiate it from any other revival of Shattered that may come out (or already has). Credit where credit is due to Neprut, Pirate of AE, and everyone else who has worked on previous versions of Shattered. Additionally, full credits to Draíocht et al. for their excellent work on Beyond Typus, which is the map I’ve used as a base, and to the MEIOU team, whose province map I’ve been greatly inspired by.That is not to say that this is merely a port, however – the vast majority of the content in it right now was created by me (hence why there isn’t as much to do yet as there was in Shattered 3…)
