[1.13] Siam Renaissance – A Siamese Rework Mod
This mod is mostly there to fix the horrendous namelist done by Paradox, though we planned to release more SIA-specific flavours later, such as events, unique journal entries and more.
– I don’t think this mod will have any compatibility issues with other mods out there at the moment, though I would recommend putting this near the very bottom of the loading list.
– 100% Compatible with Morgenröte – Dawn of Flavor and Tech & Res, and will always be for the forseeable future.
– Fixed and greatly expanded Laos, Thai, and Shan namelist (500+ in total)
– Added 450+ Thai ship names across all ship categories
– Special Siamese Interest Groups, with their historical leaders whenever applicable (47 new Siamese historical leaders and agitators so far from Dan Beach Bradley, Prince Damrong Rajanubhab, to Plaek Phibunsongkhram)
– More historical law set at gamestart for SIA, i.e. Burney Treaty of 1933 is now actually taken into account (and also an actual in-game treaty – same goes for USA’s Roberts Treaty)
– 30 New Companies Flavour name i.e. Bangkok Dock, Siam Cement, etc – most of them with their own unique Prestige Goods (fully compatible with "Tech&Res")
– Add Pre- And Post- Westernized Thai clothing for Siamese POPs (Western Clothes: Redux is recommended but not having that would just change our requirement to just ‘recognised’ status), 6 uniform eras for Royal Siamese Army and 4 uniform eras for Royal Siamese Navy (first 2 is shared with the army)
– Localized Thai hub (city) names when owned by Siam i.e. "Bangkok" → "Krungthep Mahanakhon", "Battambang" → "Phra Tabong", "Kengtung" → "Chiang Tung", etc.; also no more "Pattaya City" in the 19th century. A few extra historical-accurate naming changes i.e. "Samut Sakhon" is now "Sakhonburi".
– Siam-specific Power Bloc names and logos options.
– 5 Hours of Thai Orchestral Music This has been split into its own submod, Siamese Renaissance Music
– [Coming Soon] "Cambodian Crisis" Journal Entry (OTL Siamese–Vietnamese War of 1841-1845/อานามสยามยุทธ)
None of these mods are required and Siamese Renaissance can be run as a standalone mod, but I heavily recommend you pick them up anyway for extra contents.
