Big Yoshi
The infamous Big Yoshi from Super Mario RPG has decided to finally get up and step on the battle after serving his duties as a buddy.
Big Yoshi – or Beeg Yoshi, Fat Yoshi, however you know him as – is a typical heavyweight fighter with subpar mobility and heavy hitting moves. He possesses a Flutter Kick that functions similarly to how it did in Yoshi games to aid in his recovery(hold jump or up button after a jump!).
Use your neutral special to drag your opponents closer to you with your tongue and start a combo, and use your forward special to throw an egg in an arc to attack from afar. Everytime it bounces on the ground, it changes color and becomes stronger. To recover, use your up special to encase yourself in an egg and boost yourself upwards. You can also land on your foes to crack your egg open on them! This move doesn’t have much horizontal mobility when going up, so it’s best suited for vertical recoveries.
He can also eat a Yoshi Cookie on his down special to get a sugar rush that’ll briefly boost his movement and make him lighter (as weird as it may sound). While generally you can only eat 3 cookies per stock, you recover one every time you lose a life, so use them wisely.
