Gay Fridge
Gay Fridge is a heavyweight refrigerator with slow ground speed, made up for by their quick up-close hitboxes, randomized food projectiles, and trade-off stage control. They can put down a flag at the cost of using their strongs, which not only buffs their mobility, but also the majority of their moves upon picking the flag up!
NSpecial fires out a randomized projectile, including…
> An explosive popsicle rocket
> A volley of grapes
> A giant rolling watermelon
> A bell pepper
> A multi-hit pizza boomerang
> A healing apple
> A slippery banana peel
NSpecial can also be wavebounced, shifting Gay Fridge’s momentum when the move is B-reversed.
FSpecial is a quick horizontal lunge that grabs the opponent and spits them back out!
USpecial is a chargeable recovery option that transitions from a simple bounce to a powerful explosive leap! At low charges, Gay Fridge simply bounces off the ground with fast horizontal speed. At full charge, USpecial becomes a gaint upwards tackle with a powerful initial hitbox!
DSpecial puts down a pride flag, which has a variety of effects at the cost of your basic access to Strong attacks!
– The flag creates a cold aura around it that makes Gay Fridge extra slippery, boosting their wavedash significantly.
– You can pick up the flag with a Strong attack to slide forward while charging it
– You can also pick up the flag with an aerial to empower it!
– All of Gay Fridge’s other specials get some kind of boost in the cold aura!

I originally wanted to make this character for Pride month, but procrastination ultimately got the better of me ^^’
I also updated the character in late October of 2022… just cuz lol. I knew people casually would love the character no matter what I did with them, so I figured I’d give them a bit of competitive TLC ^^’
