Baltic Corps

History

The BC was founded in the Napoleonic Wars by former Prussian Generalleutnant Heinemann. Under the early Name Baltisches Freikorps, Heinemann formed a Unit, which was orientated by Prussian Virtues, superiority Structure and Discipline, but without suffering under obstinate thoughts and bureaucracy from Berlin. Similar as GenFeldmarschall Scharnhorst, he revolutionized the Military Structure itself and implemented this in the Freikorps, which shown great success in the Skirmishes against Russian Forces. Involved in various Conflicts since then, this Organization proved to be a efficient Unit in a "Business", that can be a good source of income aswell.

Today

The Baltic Coprs has grown to a absolute Unit. Their Members are often ex Military personal with proven skills on or behind the Battlefield. The Capabilities of Tasks is large and reaches from light Recon, over Long Haul Transportation, to SAR Missions.

Recruiting

The Requirements on Recruits are higher than in usual Armed Forces.
Recruits without Military expirience have to go through a Basic Course of 3 Month.
Recruits with proven Combat XP going through a 1 Month Course to get on a similar Level before joining their later Units.

Structure

The HQ is managed by Officers and NCOs of Varius Units which can change by demand. The HQ has also a implemented Forces School which can also be activated and led by experienced Members of the different Branches. Seperated in Infantry, Vehicle, Aviation and Special Classes.

Units

Mechinized Marine Infantry

Starting with the biggest Department, The main Task of the Marines is the classic Fight against Regular and Irregular Forces. Supported with amphibious Pandur II and Airdropable Wiesel II, there is no Combat Task they cant master.

Genaral Aviation

The GH provides all aerial support for the BC. From Long Haul Transportation, for civil aswell (which gain great income). Special Forces In – and Exfil Missions, Border Reconaissence and even light CAS. These flying Gentlemen are a great Support with large possibilities at the Corps.

CSS

As the Name says, these Guys building FOBs, provide Supplies, Rearm, Repair and Refuel all other Units and eve are able to support with Mortar Fire, which is very unusual.

Elite "Death Corps"

The Elite of the Elite. The Creme de la Creme. Compiled of the Best Members of the other Branches, only TIER III (Highest TIER in the BC) Operators serves here. Not much known about them, the Baltic Corps became the Nickname "Death Corps" after the Elite stealthy and scary behavior in the 2nd Chechen War.

Equipment

There are 3 different Camoflagues that the BC uses at the Moment. Baltic Spring, Autum and Winter, which are copied from the Erbsentarn from the Wehrmacht, which are still in use now.

They are armed with Sig P226, HK416, G3 and MG3.
