A blowforward pistol designed in Japan in the early 1900’s. At this time, automatic pistols were something very fresh, and lots of experimentation was regularly done on new mechanisms and systems, a kind of race to create the most extravagant designs. This pistol worked in the opposite way most automatic pistols do, with the recoil moving the barrel assembly forwards. When the trigger is pressed, the barrel slams back on spring pressure and makes the bullet hit the firing pin; the recoil propels it back forwards and the feeding piece moves another bullet to the chamber.
Very few were made.
