Mauser Selbstlader 1916 Pack (Project Forgotten Ravenfield + Great War)
You heard that right! The Mauser Selbstlader 1916, made famous by its appearance in Battlefield 1, now in Ravenfield!
This rifle originated in the first attempts by Paul Mauser to create a reliable self loading rifle in the 1890s. Development eventually reached this gun, a short recoiling flapper locked design based on Mauser’s 06/08 rifle. Few were trialed by the German army in the western and eastern front, which was decided that the gun was too complicated and susceptible to mud and dust. Though, the rapid advancements in Air Combat found a place for this unique gun, most of the guns went on to be used by the German Flying Corps and allegedly some found their way to the Kaisers Personal Guard.
- This pack includes both the Rifle version (Selbstlade-Gewehr 1915) and the Carbine version (Selbstlade-Karabiner 1915) . They can be found on the Marksman tab and on the Assault tab respectively.
