Description:

Ever wanted an AI custom kingdom to not be a neon eyesore? Ever wanted one to have de jure land and carve out a place on the map more permanently? Pretty Peasant Kingdoms is the solution for both of these.

PPK is configured using game rules.
In the following game rules "Capital County" refers to the rebelling county picked as the center of the revolt.

Map Color
  • Take from Capital County (Default)
  • Random (Vanilla)
Coat of Arms
  • Take from Capital County (Default)
  • Random (Vanilla)
De Jure

Duchies in the primary kingdom of the revolt (determined by number of revolting counties in that kingdom) may change de jure liege to the revolt kingdom depending on settings.
De Jure changes should respect exclave independence with respect to the capital county, all de jure lands should be connected either by land or sea (it may split an existing kingdom however).

  • None (Vanilla and Default)
  • Always take duchy of capital county
  • Majority Controlled (Duchies where 50% or more of the counties are revolting)
  • Absolutely Controlled (Duchies where 100% of the counties are revolting)

Other Changes

If a peasant kingdom has de jure land, it can be united with the kingdom it split with to merge their de jure. This is done by a decision which launches an event. You can choose to unite under the orignal title or under the revolt kingdom, but if the AI takes the decision it will only choose the original currently.

An additional minor change is that a revolt title’s base county (what the title is named after) and the title’s capital should now always be the same. No more kingdoms named after a place that isn’t their capital or maybe not even in the kingdom.
