Merc-MX3-R
Primary roles: Light Fighter, Shield, Storage, Utility, Vanilla and Reforged Eden
Update 9/13/2021 – Replaced rear ramp with correct version to go all the way to the ground. No other changes were made.
Update 8/16/2021 – Removed two carbon substrate interior blocks that were blocking o2 in a small area of the interior. No other changes were made.
Update Patch 7/4/2021 – Added Shield. To be honest I don’t know why it was missing from the BP. Most likely an error on my part when I updated the BP. The stat screen shots already showed this with a shield equipped so no cost differences.
Major Update 5/23/2021 – Ship has been rebuilt from ground up. It is now compatible with Reforged Eden and Vanilla. Reforged Eden players will need to add a basic CPU core in the B slot. The cost of the basic CPU core was added in the Reforged Eden stat screens.
Changes made:
Hull mostly rebuilt (Hardened Steel, armored cockpit). Thrusters and weapons reconfigured. Interior now allows access to the cockpit. The constructors and RCS were removed. Added WiFi, Shield, Pentaxid Tank, Detector, 4K ammo storage, 4K cargo storage. The default weapon config now is: 6 miniguns, 2 laser turrets, 2 homing rocket launchers. Replaced post stat screens to new ones for both Vanilla and Reforged Eden.
Also, I kept the vintage screen shots of the original MX3R at the end of the screen shots section. At this time the Merc-MX3 has not been updated.
The Merc-MX3-R (5/23/2021) rebuild summary
Changes made:
1. CPU tier 1, Size Class 1, Unlock level 12
2. Hardened steel hull, Vanilla and Reforged Eden. Reforged Eden players need to add 1 basic CPU core.
3. Shield, Pentaxid tank, 6 gatling guns, 2 laser turrets, 2 homing rocket launchers
4. 4k Ammo storage, 4K regular storage, Fridge, Armor Locker, Drone Hatch (P-Menu Control)
5. O2 and Dispenser, exterior lights (P menu control)
6. Sensor based lights/doors
7. Interior cockpit access
8. Passenger seat, location to add advanced core (AC-Reforged Eden)
9. Complete rebuild of original Merc-MX3R
