Orthrus-EMV
Experimental Mining Vessel (Class 2 CV, Unlock level 10)
Primary roles: Starter CV, Mining, Mobile Base, Special ceiling HV docks + landing pad, Small farm, Warp.
The Orthrus-EMV is an experimental starter CV with a unconventional layout. It was designed to be a long range single or coop resource gathering CV and to be used with specialized ceiling mountable HV’s. It is designed to add in 6 mining drills as well as a multi-turret however these items where left off to save on cost and keep the ship at a player level 10 unlock.
Mobile Base
The ship has a deluxe crafting area with a lot of storage and all quality if life items up to player level 10. It has some extra room in the crafting area to add medical equipment or anything else needed. It also has a small 18 grow plot farm. The idea behind this ship is to go out on long range missions with HV/SV support to gather resources.
Special ceiling HV docks + landing pad
The ship has two ceiling mount HV docks with support ramps for players to get into the ship from those areas. The back dock it taller and designed for larger HV’s. The recent Deimos-HT heavy tank was designed to use this dock. The dock also has a motion senser and LCD to let the player know how far to pull up and when to go up to dock on the ceiling. The front HV dock is meant for smaller HV’s such as miners. I am planning on building a top mountable miner soon to support this dock, however many exiting miners could mount to it the docking pads were added to the top. It also has a decent sized SV landing pad able to fit sv’s as large as the Merc-MX18.
OffenseDefense
This ship is not designed for combat and only is equiped with basic 360 degree defense. The Hull is built with hardened steel. It comes with 4 canon turrets and 1 sentry gun.

6. Sensor based doors, lights, and ramp
7. 18 grow plot farm
8. Decent sized landing pad + 2 HV ceiling mount dock areas.
9. Warp drive
10. Very light use of rare resources, fairly quick build time.
11. Designed to carry the Deimos-HT (Rear top mount docking bay)
