Merc-MAV
Merc Missile Assault Vessel (SV Class 1, Unlock Level 12)
Primary roles: Specialized combat, Storage, Survival, Alpha 9
The Merc-MAV is designed to take out enemy defenses and breach hulls. It is loaded with two 6 packs of rocket launchers as well as 4 gattling guns. The hull is built with hardened steel and the front nose of the ship has extra layers of protection. It also comes equipped with most all SV survivial conforts but does not have warp drive. The ship is at 7500 CPU use and designed for alpha 9 current specs.
This blueprint may show in orange(?) unless "Block limit for certain devices." in the game difficulty settings is set to false due to the weapon loadout. If this becomes a problem in the future I will update the blueprint with a more standard weapon loadout which I do think would take away from the intent of this ship. The idea is to fill a role in a rock/paper/scissors of more specialized ships rather than one ship does it all. This ship has a great offense against slow moving or stationary targets but would be weak in air to air combat against agile SV’s with a different loadout.
Survival features
Inside it has 4125 volume storage, 2500 volume ammo storage, o2 and station, armor rack, 2 constructors, 2 fridges, WiFi, short range detector, and interior cockpit access.
Offense and Defense
Designed to take out defenses and breach hulls by using 12 rocket launchers. It also has 4 gattling guns, and built of hardened steel. It is also semi quick and agile. The 2500 volume ammo can hold 2000 missiles and 4500 gattling guns rounds.
