Names Expanded
This mod gives countries more "full" names, which includes stuff like government titles. For those who want a more impressive name on the map, though be aware of menus becoming more cramped… supports English only, feel free to translate into whichever language you want.
Changes include:
– Countries default to generic names, relative to their country tier/government name. Kingdoms are called "Kingdom of NAME, while Empires are called "ADJECTIVE Empire", etc.
– Some specific countries have unique names, that appear when relevant. Most obvious one being Great Britain is correctly called the "United Kingdom" while controlling Ireland.
– Japanese Shogunate is now the "Tokugawa Shogunate".
Compatibility: This mod only overwrites the "DEFAULT" bracket in 00_dynamic_country_names txt, and should be compatible with many other mods, including those that also change country names.
All new names added have a priority of 0, meaning they should easily be overwritten if any new custom name becomes available.
I’m still figuring out Vic3 modding, so be aware that it might be a bit buggy.
