Minor Settlement Battle Returner
The Minor Settlement Battle Returner mod returns all minor settlement battles to all levels of minor settlement, and restores siege battles to the tier 3 defensive buildings and tier 3 Brettonian minor settlements, just like it was before the 2.2 update. This mod is works on both Realms of Chaos and Immortal Empires.
I know some people like these battles a lot and, while I’m not one of those people, it would be a shame if their removal ruined the game for those people to the point that they stopped playing.
Additionally, I separated walls for Chaos Dwarf outpost into a submod because I wanted to keep the identities of the minor settlement chains where the factory is more fortified while the outpost is more vulnerable, but also wanted to give the option to fortify the outposts if players wanted. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2962432884
Also I know returner is a silly name but it’s too late to change it now. Don’t make mods after midnight.

Almost certainly save-game compatible.
No reason is shouldn’t work in multiplayer.
If it’s not working, make sure you turned the mod on, new mods are disabled by default.
Sometime the Steam Workshop fails to download or update mods correctly, which can lead to crashes. If you are experiencing crashes, try the following fixes:
Restart Steam.
Unsubscribe from the mod, launch the game, close the game, then resubscribe to the mod.
Use a community mod manager.
