The USS Arizona Memorial
In memory of every anti fascist soldier who died in the Second World War.
80 years ago, Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese. Pearl Harbor has become an ocean of blood and fire.
The front ammunition depot of the battleship Arizona was hit by shells, causing a martyrdom explosion, resulting in the complete destruction of the internal structure of the front ship of the Arizona. The front main turret without bottom support completely collapsed and fell into the ship cavity formed by explosion, and the ship that lost its watertight function quickly sank. In less than 10 minutes, the ship sank and thousands of sailors on board were killed, of which more than 900 were still on board.
Today, the Arizona Memorial is located in Pearl Harbor on Oahu Island, Hawaii. In May 1962, President Kennedy designated the sunken site of the USS Arizona as the national cemetery and established the Arizona warship Memorial on the water of the sunken site of the USS Arizona. The memorial hall was completed in 1980. The Arizona warship memorial hall is a memorial hall built by the U.S. government and private investment to commemorate the Pearl Harbor incident.
The two historic ships anchored at Pearl Harbor marked the beginning and end of the Second World War and the most humiliating and glorious end of the war. A section of the history of World War II of the United States is truly and completely presented in front of people. I hope people can learn a lesson from this bloody war.
