2nd Ottoman-Mamluk War Events
A small, simple, and sweet mod that adds 3 events that depict the collapse of the Mamluk Sultanate during the 2nd Mamluk-Ottoman War.
When you are at war with the Mamluks, any victorous battle will have a 25% chance of triggering the "The Death of the Mamluk Sultan" event, which will cause Syria to switch over to your control, give the Mamluks a bunch of nasty modifiers, kill their ruler, and give you 5 years (for as long as the modifier lasts) to occupy Cairo.
Upon sieging Cairo, the Ottomans will recieve the "The Collapse of the Mamluk Sultanate" event, which gives the player 3 options:
A. Directly annex all of the Mamluks and Syria, excluding Hejaz, which will become your subject.
B. Prop up a Eyalet of Egypt as a march, giving you a modifier specialized around vassal play, and hand over Hejaz to your control.
C. Do things normally, giving extra legitimacy.
