Mom Gives Regular Prizes: Repentance
Sure, The Polaroid and The Negative are great and all, but I can’t help but miss getting a wider variety of items just for beating Mom.
Well, this mod will take you back to that point in the game; with it enabled, you’ll get regular boss prizes after clearing The Depths.
(Note: The Polaroid and The Negative will still appear, but this will happen when you beat Mom’s Heart/It Lives! instead.)
New/separate release for Repentance! Not only will Mom now also give regular prizes in the Mausoleum/Gehenna, but if you decide you want to teleport out of the regular Mom boss room after you beat her (for some reason… ;-)), the Faded Polaroid will be found in the starting room.
Now with full co-op support! Enjoy getting a prize from Mom for all of the players in your party, just as you do from other bosses. With the following caveats:
- Extra prizes will always appear in the central position, not necessarily where you picked up the previous item from.
- If you’ve spawned other item pedestals in the Mom boss room, extra co-op prizes won’t appear until all of the pedestal items in the room have been picked up/touched.
- Moving Box will only pick up the currently visible Mom prize, instead of taking all of the extra co-op prizes as it does with other bosses. Doing this will cause the next co-op item to appear immediately.
