Lucky Rulers
Lucky Rulers adds some traits to the game that can be given exclusively to the AI through a new character interaction "Bestow Luck" under the Personal Category. These traits provide significant buffs to the AI and apply the same behavior changes as the ambitious trait, causing them to accumulate power and form strong realms to compete with your own.
There are three traits that add increasingly powerful modifiers. Choose whichever you want and enjoy, and revoke their luck just as easily. I suggest pinning these characters so you can easily keep an eye on their progress. Be aware that Auspicious characters are extremely powerful!!
Inspired by a feature from CK2 mods Historical Immersion Project and Shape Your World. I found that other existing ruler buffing mods didn’t quite accomplish what I wanted so I made my own. This mod was made so me and my friends would have powerful rival empires to contend with in our MP games, if you want something more "balanced" check out Okto’s Lucky Characters.
Updated for 1.11 versions.
If you’re having trouble seeing the decision, try moving the mod further down your load order.
Future versions may see a decision or game rule to add traits to random rulers, the option for lucky characters to pass on their traits to their primary heir, and maybe better art.
