AI Economy Tweak
Light mod with no custom scripts.
Just simply updates some definitions in game files.
What it does: minor adjustments to AI weighting for some building and production methods so that they will build military ships, produce hardwood, and not rely as heavily on the currently somewhat deceptive profitability calculation.
Also prioritize covering their deficits of military and industrial goods.
Also included: preview of how potential wage changes in 1.1 will work, settings are tweaked so that the owners of buildings keep a much higher % of the income before raising wages. Will still raise wages to compete for labor and massive trade centers will still break state economies. This will enrich the owner class and impoverish workers, good for owner’s wealth and government’s wealth to extort cheap labor.
There’s also a slight shift for certain IG to not like traditionalism and try to modernize the country’s economy a bit more. Also an additional trait "Economic Reformer" that is likely to pop up in nations with massive debt and lower tier tax laws. This should help both players and the AI get to better laws to try to fix the economic issues.
What this mod does not do:
Does not turn AI into single-minded industrial GDP titans like Anbeeld’s, nations still follow their own goals and paths even when suboptimal.
Does not add lag to game.
Does not stop revolutions destroying nations and putting them into -100% admin and bankruptcy forever.
Does not stop AI from demolishing entire sectors of government funded buildings when things go wrong (universities, construction, ports, etc.)
