Ford Falcon XB (1973)
This mod adds the Ford Falcon XB (1973) to the game. Build it stock, do a restomod or recreate the iconic Interceptor from Mad Max, the choice is yours!
The Ford Falcon (XB) is a full-size car that was produced by Ford Australia from 1973 to 1976. It was the second iteration of the third generation of the Falcon.
The XB series bore minor cosmetic differences to the preceding model, the XA, aimed at giving the car a more muscular stance. First time equipment offerings included standard front disc brakes on all models[1] and an available carpeted interior.
This classic car is world-renowned for its starring roles in the movies Mad Max and Mad Max 2 (The Road Warrior), both starring Mel Gibson. In Mad Max, the police use yellow XA and XB sedans, and Max later drives a customised black XB hardtop known as the Pursuit Special.
The Falcon comes in 6 variants :
– The 500, powered by a 250ci 1V 6 engine with 155hp. Can be found in the junkyard, barns and at the auctions.
– The GT, powered by a 351ci V8 engine with 300hp. Can be found in the junkyard, barns and at the auctions.
– The V6, powered by a… V6 (because why not ?) with 259 hp. Can be found in the junkyard, barns and at the auctions.
– The Restomod, powered by a supercharged V8 with 600hp. Can be found in the barns, at the auctions and the salon.
– The Mad Max Restomod, powered by the iconic supercharged V8 with 600hp. Can be found in the barns, at the auctions and the salon.
– The Road Warrior, a.k.a Mad Max’s Interceptor. Can be found in the junkyard, barns and at the auctions.
