Description:

IF THE GAME LAGS TOO MUCH, TRY FRACTURED EARTH LIGHT INSTEAD

Patch version: 1.34

“For 20 years droughts and famines plagued the world, leading to countless wars, rebellions and migrations. In every corner of the planet ambitious nobles and ruthless warlords arose, legitimizing themselves by claiming crowns and titles long forgotten. Although the droughts are gone, the struggle for power and domination continues.”

Fractured Earth creates an alternate history that offers a much more balanced gameplay in comparison to the Vanilla version. While it uses the same map, it redistributes the controlled area of each nation, giving every country exactly two provinces. This way the player gets a fairer and more diverse setup, allowing to thrive and dominate even when choosing a normally insignificant nation.

Furthermore the downsizing of many big countries creates a lot of space for a lot of additional nations that are also included in the mod.The focus during the creation was on the historical plausibility of every changed factor as well as the enabling of interesting scenarios and struggles. You can unite Britain as a member of the English Heptarchy, win the colonial race against numerous competitors or gain control of a China broken by insurrections.

The following countries already have unique National Ideas: Aquitaine, Azores, Burgos, Carinthia, Dobrin Order, Dragon Order, East Anglia, Essex, Extremadura, Faroe, Foix, Jutland, Karak, Kent, Lazarus Order, Macedonia, Mecca, Medina, Mercia, Midnapore, Nanjing, Orkney, Ostrogothia, Palermo, Seville, Sheba, Sussex, Swan Order, Troy and Wessex.

The following countries already have unique missions: Aquitaine, Azores, Dobrin Order, Dragon Order, Extremadura, Faroe, Karak, Lazarus Order, Livonian Order, Macedonia, Mercia, Palermo, Seville, Swan Order and Teutonic Order.
