Description

This mod adds human mercenaries to playable human factions (I’m sorry Norsca mains). These units are meant to be a step-up from current vanilla units in their respective roles as front-liners, anti-large units, ranged units, and cavalry. All of the units are quite pricey in terms of upkeep and initial cost. Unfortunately I was unable to replicate "instant recruitment" like with the ROR system. The initial goal for the mod was to replicate a mercenary recruitment system for short-term usage but I failed in that aspect. These units can be recruited from the Bretonnia, Empire, Grand Cathay, and Kislev infrastructure trees.

If you know where the colors are from, you def are an OG Total War player.

  • Mercenary Company Captain (limited to only one in the campaign until the unit’s death)
  • Mercenary Cuirassiers
  • Mercenary Cuirassiers-Carabiniers
  • Mercenary Hobelars
  • Mercenary Dismounted Cuirassiers
  • Mercenary Crossbowmen
  • Mercenary Pikemen
  • Mercenary Foot Guisarmiers (pole arms)
  • Mercenary Footmen (small weapons and a shield)
