USS Oregon
The Oregon class is a variant of the Iowa class. These two classes have in common only their speed and their hull.
The Oregon is armed with six 457mm guns concentrated in two triple turrets at the front of the ship.
With good firing angles, the Oregon can still hit targets that attack it from the rear.
In addition, concentrating all the turrets forward allows the ship to save weight (and therefore, to go faster) as well as to reduce the length of its citadel.
